I have to work on Friday night, but I have a ticket to Brian Eno's keynote address as part of the Luminous festival! I'm NOT HAPPY.
Eno's lighting the opera house tonight, and I'm stuck in the studio (irony, much?). |

The show is at Carriageworks. It's a classical ensemble with electronics and a crazy light show :)

I just watched Cremaster 3: The Order. I've been told many times I must see this, if not the entire series than at least the 31 minute 'highlights' DVD. I borrowed it from a friend, and finally got around to watching it tonight. Despite Niki's opinion (she eagerly watched it before I did), I approached it with an open mind...
...I think I want those 31 minutes back. I think it was total trash.
Has anyone seen this or all 5 of the films? I'd like your opinions... |

Why do I get a cold/throat infection when tonight and tomorrow is my first night and day off in a long, long time? Not impressed with my performance. Nor am I impressed with Energy Australia's second blackout in a week.
I need tea and tim tams. |

So I brought some work home with me today, which is something I avoid. I have to cut up some music for a staff member. She has recently found out about this contemporary composer, and consequently, so have I. His name is Ezio Bosso and he's brilliant! Halfway between Philip Glass and Clint Mansell with the Kronos Quartet. It's giving me goosebumps listening to it! |
